Each scenario that uses special units carries them in the scenario directory units "gif".
If you dont have Civ2 Gold or you just want more, there's a fine, fat collection of units to be had over in the civ 2 downloads section.
Many of them are superior to those old 20th century gifs.
Erwan's and Nemo's units are fabulous.
