Civ2 GOTM #13 Results

The results of GOTM #13 are already (finally) up on the main page!

And here they are: The results of the 13th GOTM for Civ2. We now have had a full year of official Game of the Month's!

Lucky won this time, followed by Andu Indorin (his first GOTM!) and good old Smash.
Highest score was Lucky's and fastest finished came down to Smash's account.

Current leader in the Global Ranking is Lucky with 73.4 points, just before Smash who has 72.6 points. Lucky also overtook starlifter in the Hall of Fame who b.t.w. can no longer be found in the Global Ranking.

Currently new stuff and statistics are being made, which should come online somewhere within the next week. We'll keep you posted!

It seems TF and Matrix are really busy right now so I am starting this thread, I hope Matrix doesn't mind!

hooray..finally got my green star.Figured at least 1 would come in 500ad or better.Now,for that silver and I'll have a set.Hard to get silver.....

Smash, you already got your Silver Medal in GOTM11.
But I hope you won´t stop playing the Civ2 GOTM now!

Yeah, what a great month!
Gold in the Civ1 GOTM, Silver in the Civ3 GOTM and Gold in the Civ2 GOTM.
The hard work and long hours really paid off this time!

Unfortunately I won´t have so much time again in the near future.

Now I even surpassed the great Starlifter, it´s time that he comes back and shows us how it´s really done!


Matrix, I´m somewhat confused though.
Why do I have a Green Star in the HoF???
It should be 2 Blue Stars, one from GOTM10 and one from this GOTM!
That should be corrected.

Yes, it was. Hence I ended last. I might try again this time since it's on an easier level and a small map.

[sigh] I think I should recheck every victory. It was very difficult when all NOL's victories needed to be deleted.

I have to say that you are right. I retired before 2020 ad. I did it because of i, as same of you, am a student (university) and i do not have so much time to play all days. I was near of March 5 and i sent you my savedgames. I think you are right, because nobody can retired before 2020 ad.

I was under the impression that Restarting from scratch was a Tolerated form of cheating
Since I had a few first places and several other good games I asked Matrix to remove these games .

For I am a Fanaitic ,but not a cheater.

Yea! The archive file for GOTM 13 is finally up. Now that GOTM 14 is almost over, you can finally look at the GOTM 13 games.
