CIV2 on WIN7 with 64Bit by VIRTUALIZED WIN XP

Hey guys,
i recently installed virtual PC 2007
then i installed there with an original CD Windows XP
then i installed there SID Meiers Civilization II and the Scenerios
all with original CDs.
I am playing the game with the Win95 Mode
and it all works just fine !!!!! i can also see films from the worldwonders but no GeneralCouncil yet ..........
but the game works
My only problem is that the game stucks from time to time it doesnt work properly
it just hangs you cant do nothing and then it runs again ....
like its loading or sth
I thought its maybee because the virtualized PC cant reach the DVD Rom so good
I actually dont know
maybe s.o. can help?????

Here is the Solution:
i just activated the cd-Rom drive in the menue.

I AM NOW ABLE TO PLAY WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS CIV II AND THE SCENARIOS WITH ALL MOVIES AND THE HIGHESTCOUNCIL !!!!!

If somebody has the same problem please write here so i can try to help you !
its real easy to play the game under win7 64 bit
just install virtual PC 2007
then install there with an original CD Windows XP
then install there SID Meiers Civilization II or/and the Scenerios
all with original CDs.
then activate the cd-drive in the settings on virtual drive
so you will be able to play without any problems
