I always played my game with no problems. I used the editor once in a while to add new units but what happened next is ridiculous. I reinstalled the game and deleted every file related to civ3, but the problem still persists.
The problem:
I click on the conquests editor to open it up and this message pops:
'ERROR: Could not locate civilization III: Play the World. Please make sure the game has been properly installed and try again'
I click ignore and then i get this message like 20 times:
'Error: Could not open file: Art\units\palettes\ntp00.pcx. Check to make sure the editor is run from the folder where civilization III was installed'
Every message comes with a new Art\Units\ file for all of my terrain, starting locations, and other stuff i dont know what it means as if it wasnt reading any of it. I never moved stuff out of there
and had my own separate folder for my own scenario to play from there, however the game's default editor is not running.
Can anyone help me?
