Civ3 & Masters of Orion 3

Info games is the publisher of both. Civ 2 and m.o.o. 2 were very similar. (Of course, Civ 2 was the vastly superior game. It would be very convenient if info games would have sid's team and the moo3 team get together and coordinate a link between the two games. When one race wins on earth after the apollo program, They then can upload their civ into moo. It would take care of the race specific attributes of that came by how your civilization established its dominance. Mine would be a science and democracy race. If you win the game by colonizing alpha centari, you start moo3 with a second colony.

Anyone else like the idea?

I think this would be a tad difficult since CivIII is now a Firaxis game, and MOO3 is being developed by a completly different company. I do believe both are being released by Infogrames, however I don't think the party that releases the software has any coordination. Though I believe it to be an excellent Idea the stories in both games are so vastly different it would be hard to connect the two so that the flow of the game would be consistent. Anyways MOO3 looks to be shaping up into a game that diverts from the old world of turn based and looks to be combining a lot of different elements to make a new age type of turn based strategy game (with less micro management). So though I think its an excellent idea, I don't think its very workable given the circumstances .
