Civ3 MP.....who here will be playing it?

Who, among the regular OT posters here, plans on getting and playing MP for Civ3 when it comes out later this month?

Personally, I am pumped and can't wait. Its about time they completed the dang game.

Exactly. I already paid my fifty dollars last November in expectation of a completed game. Firaxis OWES me free anything that finally completes the game with no additional charge. I have already spent a great many hours as a beta playtester for them.

So, I'm not paying a thing for it.

Zouave, usually I have you on "Ignore" but I knew with this post you were spouting wisdom I can agree with. It is criminal for them to promise MP in the original package and then expect us to pay for it later. I preordered a second copy of Civ3 for one of my Clanmates who was down on his luck, just so we could MP together. Now, if I wanted to continue this same course of action, I can give Firaxis an additional $60 to go with the $90 I already gave them!

It's sad that so many regulars on this forum are so mesmorized that they can justify to themselves shelling out all extra money to obvious liars and cheats. The concept of "voting with your wallet" doesn't work if the voters don't think it through!

I think the add on could be a Genghis special... I don't really mind about mp that much but I would like to see the new civs as it'll be interesting to see how the game plays with them in.
