Civ3 PTW Prima Strategy Guide

Ok i got the Strategy book from eb the other day and its really good IM A WARMONGER NOW! But really its a good book it tells you stuff like research paths for a war monger or just cultral/peace lover research path, not only that it gave me some starts i could use for multiplayer, hehe its nation crushen time So if your really stuck i think you should get the book its really cheap now or it was, but you should still check out the tips and stuff ppl have on thease forums and the military academy is really helpfull too

what the hell do you want to spend your money on that? It's plain Useless to me.....If you played for 2 years already.......

This guide may give reasonable general advice, but is plain WRONG on many specifics.
Use this site as a strat guide and you'll avoid frustration.

I bought the prima guide for vanilla civ 3 and it was wrong on many specifics. Gave really vague descriptions and said that bab bowmen had 2 movement, and gave a brief description of strategy associated with that incorrect info. But still, it was entertaining and made me want to play the game more. Not worth 20 bucks though

Besides, browse the forums and the War Academy, and one will get tips and strategies that are infinitely better than Prima's "Attack with a lot of UU units until they die" ideas. I'd go for free, useful strategies written by folk with years of experience rather than shelling out a couple of 10's for a crummy, inaccurate book compiled by some editor...

the strat book is ok for strategy, but more of a review of the game /insight on the person who wrote the books ideas.

I think the Book is exellent for begginers only like the ones who dont even know about CivFanatics. I dont think the book is that bad, but I know its something you shouldnt get used to. I read it a couple of times in the store and its not that bad.
