Civ3 PTW VER.1.27f

Help: I am at my wits end , Please help !!!...Here's the deal, I installed 1.27 and now I can't play M P games. I have tried all the recommended fixes, I have added 512Mb's of DDR Ram. I have upgraded,Downloaded,Emailed, And begged 4 help. I've played over 500 Multi-Player games with the 1.21f patch. But now i can't play even 1 With 1.27..Every time I go to launch a M P game my cpu kernal goes off the charts with 100% usage. Even though I have closed all other programs, And it uses almost 0 page files , and only about 50 Mb's of ram...I am running Windows XP Pro, On A compaq Presario 1.3 Ghz AMD Athelon can any 1 make a suggestion? Which country's patch are you using?

There have been 'dodgy patch' reports - see other posts.

Have you tried getting the patch from the CIV3 website?

That's the only advise I can give, I'm afraid.

I'm surprised no-one responded earlier than this though.
