Has redone many units to balance things out, help units and goverments that you never choose (did ANYONE use feudalism in vanilla for example?) There was rarely any reason to build anything but the best tank, now its at least recommended to bring some defensive troops as well. Also, i removed most of the very weak bombardments, as this mainly slowed down the game (ai moving around with "frigate death-stacks") and never was of any real importance anyway. Ive tried to specialize some units and avoid having units that are 'good at eveything'. Missile frigate is the only dedicated off-shore bombardment unit, although the battleship is still ok.

I will take a look at it, but you have gone in the opposite direction as to me, in that you are making the modern unit weaker, while I am making them stronger. Have to see how you system works with respect to results.
 
well what i have rather made is making modern units more specialized, i was bored in how you only ever used battleships and modern armour for everything (even defense). There was really no need to build something else.

It works fine for me. You still kick as if you have better tech.

Ironically i got the idea when playing rise and rule mod, which basically adds loads of everything. Although that mod is very well done, i didnt like it, i got no sence of "I gotta get to the next unit quickly to have an upper hand" since there was units with nearly every advance. But it inspired me to make a mod myself (although this mod is very tiny in comparision).
