This is not a contradiction, this thread started out as about concentrations camps, and concentration camps are not Hitler. In fact K.F. Huszár said several times this thread wasn't about Hitler.

You can not initiate campaigns (e.g. deportations) against beleivers of other religions and members of an other nation (minority or majority in a city). Why not?

Correct me if i am wrong but i can't see a simpathy among sibling civs (e.g. Japanese and Chinese). So, there is no trans-civ rascism - which appears in history.

concentration camps are probably worse than hitler I would say.. for example, who would actually want the camps in the game? it's a bit different.

Most people who play civ consider WW2 to be before there time as it is what, 61 years ago? It's like the slavery thing, we don't worry about it as much because we never experienced it.

We'll just call them labor camps.

you dont need victem civs, you can use unwanted religious populations, barbarian civs, or the population of an enemy city. It would be a great way to manage dissent. If you take your disgruntled citizens that refuse to work, and throw them in a labor camp, the next group will think twice before striking.

Surely labor camps are more agreeable, even America had these during the war.

Besides, who wants a pile of corpses? Totally useless!! I'd rather have a semifunctional labor force.

Even I as warped as i tend to be, would be thuroughly offended by The Halocaust Wonder project. But forced labor, with more umph than simple slavery has played an integral part in history.
