I'm playing my first PBEM game with a friend and I've noticed a bug that renames one of the human players. Here's what happened.
Bob set up a PBEM game and sent it to me (Rick). The first few turns went fine, and when I finished my turn, a window popped up telling me to send the file to Bob, as it was his turn.
While waiting for Bob to send me his turn, I'm playing an SP game and the name I'm playing under is "Tuck." But for some unknown reason, when I played a turn against Bob, it replaced Bob with Tuck. So instead of telling me to send the file to Bob so he could play his turn, it tells me to send it to Tuck. It even renamed Bob to Tuck in the score panel in the lower right portion of the screen.
However, if I shut down Civ4 and then reopen it and replay the turn, it clears the bug and I'm told once again to send the file to Bob.
So far the bug has appeared twice out of about 15 turns. It doesn't seem to effect any of the gameplay, it just seems to rename the second human player.
