Hey Guys, I've got a problem that I've not been able to find an answer for on my own. Every time I try to boot up Civ5, after selecting the DX version, there's a three or four second pause, and a black window begins to open up, then immediately closes. Nothing else happens after this point. Was wondering if anyone could perhaps shed some light on this issue.
Here's the dxdiag, event logs, a few personal notes, and what I've tried so far.
Tried restarting computer.
Tried reinstalling Civ5.
Tried updating drivers.
Tried verifying integrity of game cache.
Tried bypassing/deleting opening video.
Tried updating DirectX.
Tried using different versions of DirectX.
Tried running as admin and in compatibility mode. (When doing this, the comp just asks for permission to continue in an infinite loop until I say no, window doesn't even begin to open like normal when this is tried)
This computer has run Civ5 before, not like a champ, but it is capable.
Event Logs:

I've tried everything I can think of, so if anyone could shed some insight as to why it used to work but can no more, I'd be grateful.
