Civ6 mapmaker

So have any of the heavy hitters on the forum more in the know than I am heard any rumours about a map maker being released for Civ 6?
I rather used to enjoy making maps and then loading them up and playing a game on them.

Or failing that a Gathering Storm compatible mod of some kind that enables the creation of loadable maps?
