CivAssist installation?

OK: downloaded CivAssist II (is that the latest version?) and went to install it only to be told I need .NET Framework 1.1.4322. All well and good, but what's available for download is much more recent than that (I believe it's 3.5). So what do I do to get CivAssist to install and run, please? Thanks.

It will work fine with any .net above that 1.1.4322.

You need to download and install .NET 1.1 from Microsoft, this will not affect your .NET 3 installation. Some people find that they have problems if they then install one of the security updates to .NET 1.1, but that depends on the operating system you are running. Your best bet is to look at the CivAssist thread in the Utility Programs forum, there will be a link to .NET 1.1 there.
