This mod adds a completely new civic type "Mobilization" complete with five new civics, Primitivism, Military Mobilization, Economic Mobilization, Civil Mobilization and Balenced Economy. Have you ever got'n annoyed with unit support cost or City support cost? well I have so I added these. Some of them effect your military making it stronger some effect your economy making it stronger and some effect both. You start out with Primitivism which is a primitive way of trying to balence your civ. Military Mobilization you guessed it mobilizes your military this is agreat Civic to have in a war. Economic Mobilization you guessed it Mobilizes your economy this is good for balencing your economy at anytime. Civil Mobilization Starts to balence your Economy and your Military. It seems a bit optimistic to have a "completely" balanced civic, which totally balances the two. Doesn't that make Civic Mobilization redundant and outright obsolete, thus destroying the purpose of civics?
 
It's an interesting idea, but would work better if there were real trade-offs for one over the other. For example, the military focus reduces gold and culture. The "balanced" option definitely sounds, well, unbalanced.

Ideas:

Military - +XP, -Happy, -Culture
Finance - +$, -Hammers
Production - +Hammers, -$, -Health
Culture - +Culture, -Hammers, -XP
Science - +Beakers, -XP, -Hammers

However, like Crezth said, this all seems a little redundant as this is the point of Civics in the first place - for example, with Vassalage and Theocracy you can get extra XP for your military at the cost of other civics, etc.
 
Is it compatiable w/ Civ Warlords?
 
I always liked the mobilization ability from Civ3 and the CtP series...
but if this is intended to be a mobilization civic, why not use something from the real world? like...

Defcon 5 - reduced further (-2hp) (2 turns to activate)
Defcon 4 - reduced cost (-1hp) (1 turn to activate)
Defcon 3 (civ default)
Defcon 2 - increased cost (+1hp)
Defcon 1 - increased further (+2hp)

Let the support cost wreck the economy in it's own way, and let the activation times affect security.
 
i found that it may only be for warlords or it don't work on mac
it gives error on imperialistic trait thats only warlords so is there a vanilla version
 
hey if you want to I'd love to use it, and put it out to all the umm 8 or 9 other mac users(who also don't have warlords)
