Civilization 4: The Complete Edition Error

Alright guys...here's the deal. I had Civilization 4: Gold Edition and my girlfriend went out and got me the complete deal. Sweet deal right? Well...the old one I had worked fine. And now when I try to install the new game I get this message, about 3/4 through the installation process:

Error: The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.

Here's a screen shot of what I'm talking about.

Can someone please help me out? I'd really like to not have to take this game back...I was really excited about it, and I know my girlfriend would like to know I appreciated her purchase

Did you try installing as admin?

I believe that this issue can be fixed by copying the cd files to the hard drive and running them from there.
