Civilization VII Screenshots Thread (Funny, Strange, etc.)

Despite his long time service in the Navy - earning him an esteemed 11 stripes - Johnny Admiral somehow still managed to beach his ships every time there was a team photo shoot.

While playing as Xerxes the Achaemenid in the modern age, my "random" attribute point from completing Future Tech and Civics was Scientific 10 times in a row. According to ChatGPT, the odds of that are 1 in 10,077,696.

Actually, I think it'd be (1 / 6) ^ 10, or 1 in 60,466,176. (Assuming that all 6 attributes are equally weighted outcomes.)
For comparison, winning the jackpot from Powerball is in the realm of 1 in 292,201,338. Which would be easier than an 11th science point in a row at 1 in 362,797,056.

There was a better spot for Colossus to go, but asthetically there was no choice
Thing of beauty, also it is clear I need a new computer, my game does not look like this.

You are going to have amazing yields with that setup. I played a similar game recently with Hatshepsut and Egypt, I had 11 navigable river tiles in Waset. I played it as a challenge and it ended up being awesome. With the new Egypt buff you are set.

Did you get god of the sea pantheon?

I set my Ship of the Line to auto explore (under 1.2.5) and I guess it forgot to head south for the winter.
(More seriously--I couldn't manually move the unit back out of the ice pack, even with open borders with the neighboring civ. No idea how it got in there, but there was no getting it back out...)

I guess it was pushed there when border expanded. The border expansion logic does weird things.

If you were on auto-explore, my bet would be bermuda triangle !
