Download all files as follows;


There will be a civworld_v1.0.bic file for the scenario that uses a worldmap with correct starting locations and is a lot of fun.

There will be a civworld_v1.0RM.bic file for a Random Map version of the game which is also alot of fun.


Im also adding files of snoopy's grahpics for cities and terrian which makes the game look alot better.

Im also adding backup Civ3 files.

Everything is based on the 1.29patch release and if you want to know all the changes you will have to look through the *.bic files.

I'm playing the scenario and its alot of fun!!!

*Using an modified version of Kal-el awesome world map!!!

*Units have been tweaked.

*Some terrian and resources have been tweaked.

*Republic government has 1 military support now.(This balances out the governments better!)

*Enhanced starting locations.

*Some races changed names/merged into new races.

*Tweaked A.I. behavior of the different races.

*All races have 30 unique city names.

*Some races generals have been tweaked.

*Tweaked barbarian behavour.

*Modified the map more.

*Did more tweaking to A.I. behavour.

*Did some race tweaks.(color changes and city placement order...ect!)

BEfore I spend ages downloading it - what is it??
 
Its a mod of our world with proper tweaks and balances made so its more realistic.

For example Agsis Cruiser can carry tactical nukes or cruise missles. Republic Government now has 1 military support and on and on.(Lots of changes go through the *.Bic file....)

Looks very good, cant wait to try it. However, if you wanted it to realastic, no horses in america, and increased workrate on communism. I like the map though!
 
Ya, I might increase the work rate for communism and the horses I left in North America do to the fact that the Natives needed them for there special unit. Also Spain isn't in the game yet so it's kinda hard for them to bring horses to the America's....lol! I've been updating behavor of the A.I. and it seems to be working pretty good already. The American starting location has been moved a little closer to the coast and it seems to work alot better. All these and more changes coming soon in an updated version.

Ya, you could consider it a mod. Its hard to say because the scenario is that you start out at the beginning of the world and see if you can change the out come of what happens...

I've updated the version to 1.3 now. I don't believe there will be any more updates for a while or unless something really needs changing!!(LOL!)

Before downloading can you tell me how big the map is.
Is it standard, large or huge.

If its huge size it will be to slow on my system later in the game.
 
how about tech speed? is it ok, so like you dont get tanks in year 1689... you know what I mean :crazyeye:
 
Well there is no new units added yet. I want to make sure if there is a new unit added, that it has balance and purpose!!!

Tech speed hasn't fully been tested...Please report what you find so that I can tweak it....

a little idea for you, two things on tech speed.....first look at the cost value on the editor, multiply it by 2.5 to 3 times the number and place it there, that will help you from getting tanks in 1669...Add the units and alternative civs!
