join a frat? ha! i would never join a frat - why would i want to be put through hazing and tortures and humiliations just to have a 50/50 chance of living in a place where all they do is drink themselves crazy every week?
i'm not that desperate to "belong" to an organization or be "popular"
having said that, i re-iterate: "06 IS THE BEST! FORGET ALL THE REST!"

I'll tell that to the pledgemaster after he pattles you a$$. EVERYONE who's in a frat says they'd never join a frat, then they do. You might or might not, join one... either way you'll be kindly reminded we're people too ;-)

I never finished school. I failed all my exams and I wasn't allowed to retake them or do anything else, except for maths, which I found too hard.

Nah, frat guys arent actually people.

I would advise against it really...I've only seen one college where greek life was a positive influence on campus. Fifty's assessment is pretty spot on...its like paying for friends, and its mostly about drinking.

I actually almost joined Delta Tau Delta at AU. I got a bid, but I turned it down...once I saw what frats were like...and DTD is one of the "smarter, nicer" frats.

I'm going to the University of Iillinois in Urbana-Champaign to do either mathematics, political science, history, or business. This summer, I'll be working as a custodian about 40 hours each work and at nights working at Gamestop twice a week. Family reunion. Hanging out. Reading the United States of Europe, then a Hearthbreaking Work of Staggering Genius. Whatever.

Graduation is tomorrow. Wish me luck in not making a fool of myself when reaching for my diploma.

(At least, that's not the story I get. I don't know any DTDs, so it could be unfair).

Frats are totally different from school to school. at AU, DTDs are usually the most gentlemenly like, and get the best grades, compared to other frats. At my sister's college, Case Western Reserve, DTDs are some of the biggest partiers.

Im a non drinker, so my frat prospects are few anyways
