random but important question - if i have a contenent full of jungle - and i clear it all down to grassland before i discover rubber - will any rubber appear where there used to be jungle? should you not clear jungle untill you discover rubber, so that you don't lose the resource if it is there, but undiscovered? has anyone cleared jungle, discovered rubber, and then found rubber where the jungle used to be? otherwise, it would make sense not to clear jungles until you have determined wether rubber is on them-

I think that rubber starts in jungle by default but if you clear jungle the rubber _should_ remian.

i agree but have you ever been playing a game, get the techs to see the rubber, and found rubber on any lands that used to be jungles but are not something else? i don't think i have

I have seen rubber appear once on a grassland tile that used to be jungle.

Thought it might be more realistic if you clear too much jungle there would be global warming or something

In my current game, I own a continent that used to be about 60% forest or jungle. When I got to replacment parts, I had 4 rubber tiles in my 100% cleared continent. So the answer is yes. And I'm sure of it.
