Does anyone know and played this great gift ware game for Amiga? (or on Amiga emulator)

It is Civ in space kinda strategy. You can play alone against single AI opponent or against 2nd player in hot seat mode. Game have great playability and nice energy consumption/production buildings. Like you build nuclear plant which gives 8 energy, and city complex consumes 4 energy units.

On this page: http://itchstudios.com/psg/spacecon/spacecon.htm I also found project of remake of this great game dedicated to gba. With graphics more great than in the original, but I would not have much hopes it will be ever done but who knows.

Yes, I remember it.

I'd forgotten all about it, but I used to play it a lot at the time. I don't think I was very good at it though.

Well, it was bit hard to fight AI on harder difficulty until you got good strategy Remake of this game with internet multiplayer would be great I think.

I can barely remember what its like. I should probably look for an emulator and give it another whirl.

WinUAE is best emulator: http://www.winuae.net/ also game is available on many sites with Amiga games. I found also it on hdd file for WinUAE packed together with planet map editor, and pack of user made planet maps.
