Anyone edited the txt-files in the game? I changed some specialists icons, some unit stats and -costs. I turned all or only a few founding fathers off (don't remember how, but did). There also was a "teacher". I could activate him in game and it became possible to bying him in Europe (He could be used like every normal colonist.) but he never teached enything. ;) More than that dosn't work.

I tryed to figuring out, how to build other buildings than the normal (there where some in one of the txt-files) but never find out, how to do. So, anyone did somthing more?

I have looked in that text file, and it says something about a building called a "Capitol" and to build it, you have to have a population of 16 (in the colony)

Has anyone built it? anyone know what its for?

It's not mentioned in the manual and in all the games I've played I haven't come across any option to build it. Looks like an preliminary design feature left out in the final release.

I translated the names to Turkish for fun. I deleted some Indian villages in South America.

I can add some on the Capitol. I have been .SAV-hacking lately (more on that in another thread, coming soon to a forum near you), and found that you can build something called a Captiol (and even a Capitol Expansion).

These buildings replaces the town hall, gives no added Bell production and has no graphics, so it's just an empty area in the colony screen where you can put statesmen and see how many bells they produce...
