how would one go about combining mods? ive always found it a shame that only 18 civs from the Civ Gold mod could play at once. is there any way to combine Civ Gold with lt. bob's 40 civ mod?

Yes, for these two it should be very easy actually, just copy the dll of Lt Bob over to Civ Gold (make sure you keep the path the same, i.e. it should be in Civ Gold/Assets dir).

Voila, done.

i cant seem to get it... i took the all of the files from lt bobs mod (cause none of them were .dll) and dumped them into the assets folder of the civ gold mod. did i do something wrong?

Were any of the files overwritten?

If so, you may be breaking the mod by overwriting Civ Gold's instructions. You might try only copying over the files for which Civ Gold doesn't have its own copy. If that doesn't work, you may have to merge the files. That requires some creative copy and paste work. I recommend an editor like Notepad++ for that. I swear, once you've used that program, you'll never go back to editing files with windows notepad.

i dont think thats the case, because civ gold still works, but is still limited to 18 civs. i guess ill have to try editing the civ gold programing
