Can one acquire 100 points in 100 years? I've am the Persians and have been playing a game where there are two major continents and I have just conquerd all of the one that I started out on. The other continent contains the two remaining civilizations one being the Aztecs who out scores me by 100 points! Should I (1) Attack him right away making a pact with his continent mate (2) Attack the other Civ. or (3) Develope my resources on my continent. I am two turns away from getting transports.

Don't declare war on anybody until you're ready to actually attack. If you get those two fighting while you're still waiting for an assault team to assemble then the Aztecs will just get bigger while you watch helplessly. Your best bet right now is probably to get a Right of Passage with the other civ and start ferrying troops over asap. Get at least enough in place to attack and hold several Aztec cities. When you're ready to launch your attack, get an alliance with the other civ and both of you keep a continuous assault going until the Aztecs are no longer a threat.

Or, as I would probably do, build 5 or 6 transports (40 to 48 units able to be transported), and some battleships and/ or destroyers. Wait until marines, then load up a few with marines, and other types of units into the transports and escort with the warships. If you can build carriers and fighters, some fighter jets might not hurt.

Then, I would suggest sending those fleets (Might be good to keep some warships back for defense, dunno) out and attack a coastal city. Use the destroyers and battleships to blast the city, weakening units and such, then launch an ambhipious assault with the marines on the city. when you take it, you could send the other units (Inf. tanks, whatever) to move inland ot take out a few other coastal towns then move inland.

I've never tried this out myself, of course, I've never had the chance to. Yet, anyway.

I would probably (If score and such weren't an option), blast the smaller, weaker civilization off the continent then turn on the Aztecs. You may still get the points you need, but the Aztecs may also gain more points in that time. Of course, attacking the Aztecs is more risky, but taking their cities adds to your score and takes away from theirs. So it's a good risk if you're going for the win with the most points.

Option 2.

The smaller Civ. has just made a mmp with the Aztecs! That changes thing doesn't it!! How do I break the MMP.

Make an MPP of your own with whatever civ you do not wish to fight. Then send a worker into the civ you DO wish to fight. Then at the end of your turn, declare war on them but don't attack anything. They will capture your worker, and since they were the first to attack, the other civ is required by the defensive nature of the MPP to come to your aid in the form of an alliance. Its an evil tactic, but what's a dictator bent on world conquest supposed to do? ;)
