I have a lockup occuring because the computer is trying with a settler for the same piece of land I am trying for.
What happens is if I move my settler right next to its settler (on the spot we both want) I am out of moves and can not settle it yet. It is the end of my turn. I hit Enter for next turn, it locks up.
If I move to any other square and allow the computer to settle that patch of ground, no lockup.
I originally posted about this as a graphics problem. But it now seems to be a computer AI problem causing the lockup.
I can only assume that it gets into a loop trying to figure out how to get the settler in the space I am occupying and settle it, or there is a zone of control issue. I.E. It has decided to settle the next best spot, the one it is in, but since I am right next to it, something in the programming may be preventing it and locking it up.
Does anyone know where I could possibly send the saved game to so a programmer/developer can look at it and determine possibly what is going on with the AI to cause the lockup?
