Ok I have two major problams with my machine.

First I am having problams with my connection, I will lose my connetion and I have to scan for errors to fix it.


Now recently, I was scaning for errors when I lost all my bookmarked pages, is there anyway I can get them back?

First things first, were need some more info:

What type of internet connection (DSL, cable, dial-up)?
Do you have a router?
What internet browser are you using?

I'm not sure if it's possible to recover your bookmarks, but I do suggest the extension foxmarks to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Now for your internet connection... first things first. Restart your modem and re-install any software that came with it (or basically set it up again) and see if that does anything.

If your still having problems try calling your service provider and see if they are having any line problems in your area. It might not have anything to do with you.

The missing bookmarks may be due to a problem with Firefox's profile manager. It happened to me once. I can't remember what I had to do to fix it, but my bookmarks returned.

well i lost all my bookmarks once, but i never got mine back so i switch to Opera.

Firefox makes backups of your bookmarks. Go to Bookmarks>organize bookmarks
Then File>import>from file. Navigate to your profile folder ( Usually in App Data, or at least for me it is). From there, select the latest backup and it should restore your bookmarks
