Conquest Request: Civ-Specific Improvements and Wonders

or civ-specific names to wonders, such as the Apollo Program for America and the Soyuz Program for Russia. Another good example is America's military academy could be the United States Military Academy and other countries could have their military academies named after their real-life counterparts. The great wonders that have men's names in them could vary between country, such as Sun Tzu's Art of War and Leonardo's Workshop.

Well what if you want to make a historical scenario- right now you would have to assign a certain resource to a particular large wonder to make the Pyramids of Ghize exclusively Egyptian (and this works on a pre-made map only).

I think an option like the one I sugest is quite urgently needed for scenario makers etc- that want to keep wonders to their originals constructors and this way give historic bonuses to the actual people that really had these. Egypt was powerful in the times when they build these things- and not the celts (if they'd built them).

Besides there can still be non-civ-specific large wonders (internet, Cure of Cancer, and so on), but the posibility to make this flexible would be a great improvement over the current state.

but there should be a dead line, you should finish the wonder before x turns after certain tech

interisting point :D you mean that if the pyramids are not built (or at least started) between 3000 and 2000 bc then they should not be built at all (mainly because since then technology improves architecture too much to make a pyramid still a feasable venture)?!

Yes, I think wonders (at least historical larger ones) should run out for construction with new technology.
