So, as a big disappointed yet devoted player of CIV7 (I fell in love with the graphics!), I was planning to be a modder in my spare time. However, as I started following the guidelines of Civ7 Development Tools, I got lost in the thousands of mechanics to take control of. I hope one day my dream mods will be released.

Elsewhere, I've proposed my top fav list of Mod Ideas:
1 Inquisition and border control for missionaries
2 Religious diplomatic issues
3 Colony status and resource outposts outside borders (a unit like Prospectors, which means the American ones must gain some bonus to differ from others)
4 Ilimited border expansion and resouce/terrain exploitation
5 Wonders limited to civ/race granting special bonuses to the civ
6 Conquered cities keeps the original architectural appearance. Only new buildings follow the owner's civ appearance.
7 Dam quarter (can't be passed by ships in navigable rivers)
8 Cultural Affinity Adjaciency Civ Start
