Conquests- advice with Warlord-Regent?

Well, I have mastered warlord and want to move up to regent, so any advice

Do it? Stop building excess buildings and units?

Be sure to make enough workers and not to wait to do it. Expand a little faster.

If you've mastered warlord, just move up. There's no enormous change you can't see coming, just think a bit more than you have been and you'll be fine. Good luck.

I believe that at WarLord your first 3 citizens are born content. At Regent and Monarch that becomes only 2 born content, so you have to watch for discontent just a bit more closely at Regent.

While in Despotism you can use the lux slider, more luxes, MPs and specialists, but I don't recommend temples since they use up your available gold for maintenance, aren't as easy to reduce as the other happiness-givers and cost shields to build which could be better used on units or other improvements.
