Peace proposals from Detlef our still wanted, otherwise, I will be keeping all currently occupied territory and still take the last 2 desired cities (towns actually).

Ok, who has been sitting on the game? There hasn't been a turn or post since Feb 6th...
If someone was supposed to have sent it to me, I am almost certain that I did not receive it. I assume it is with Maverick since Predesad always posts and Detlef has been extremely reliable in every PBEM I've played with him...

The War...Predesad calls it World War I, but I am not sure what the appropriate name for it is, will continue for 5 more turns. Preparations for the last Dutch Offensive of the war, the Western Push are underway as Detlef of the Spanish has failed to come forward to discuss peace terms. However, I am still willing to trade Murcia back to you...probably for a low price because it is completely unproductive and will likely flip soon...
Historians debate what to call the on-going war:
-War of Dutch Annexation
-Iron War (that was my whole motivation for Antium)
-Second Roman War
-Zulu-Spanish War
-Spanish War
-World War I (I dislike this because, thanks to very fortunate and effective diplomacy, it was basically the world versus Spain in what was a very unevenly matched war. Plus, World War after World War isn't as creative).
EDIT: Origionally, I forgot to add that the 58th Amsterdam Cavalry captured a Spanish worker nearby Saragoza or something like that in Old Rome.

So the Celts will remember it as the Spanish War. I think Dutch historians are leaning towards the Iron War or War of Dutch Annexation...

The Battle of Zaragoza:
-Failed bombardment by Trebuchet followed by 5th & 60th Amsterdam Med Inf def. 1 Spearman & 1 Horsman capturing the city.
My proposed peace offer for Detlef:
-I don't really want Murcia, so I will trade it back to you... Other than that, I would be fine with allowing things to stand as they are. However, I still plan to assault Valencia with those two knights and take that. Also, if you make the right proposal, I will sell back your workers (I think I have 3 of them).

I am having problems with my computer. In addition, my personal situation does not allow me to get it fixed right now. Besides this, I am was about to lose my cable internet and was going to have to switch to dial up which would be a PBEM nightmare. On top of that, right now I just do not have any spare time, my wife is about to have surgery. I do not wish to stall or dealy games while I sort this out, so I freely give my permission to seek temporary replacements for me until everything is sorte dout and I can resume playing my turns, right now I cannot accurately say how long that will be. If there is a difficulty finding temporary replacements, then I will agree to be permanently replaced, but I do ask that first an attempt is made to find a temporary replacement. Unfortunately, with the sudden computer problems I am unable to help with finding replacements. I am sending my passwords and in game agreements to rubberjello in the hopes he will not be too upset and helping out in this area. I should be able to occassionally access another machine and get online, so if there are any questions pm or email me, but be patient because I do not know when I will be bale to respond. Thank you for your patience.
