I have requested that Arckon find a replacement or switch the Mongolians over to AI due to rl schedule conflicts.

OK, the Mongols are now AI and under the control of Tamerlane.

Good luck, Swiss1!

I also changed Russia back to Peter the Great as CB hasnt played for quite a while.

Thanks Arckon...It is rather disturbing to see that the AI is doing better than I was!!! If the Mongolians win the whole thing, I'll really feel bad! :crazyeye:

I heard yesterday that Thalatta is having computer problems and will be away for a while. I would suggest turning his Civ to AI

The Americans have declared war on the Aztecs and theplayer has not logged in since early Friday morning, Dec-1-06.

Since he could have his whole nation wiped out if he doesnt defend it, I am going to put him on AI control if Conquistador45 doesnt log in by noon today.

I have played every turn religiously. Even though I started a new job working 11 hrs aday. I missed "one" turn because platfuss was in the game when I tried to load it up and it took so long to load I had to go to work.....so I missed one turn...one lousy turn when others dont play for several turns in a row. Threaten to kick me again, for missing "one" turn , and I will quit this game...................war or no war.

Its a tough balance between being on the lookout for inactive players, and people trying to take advantage...

and irritating the players who are active, but happen to have to miss a turn because of that pesky real life here and there.

Glad you're still with us, Conquistador - good luck with the American assault!

LOL, Conquistador, the intent wasnt a threat, but to do you a favor.

Without you able to play, the Aztecs would be defenseless, not reacting to anything the Americans are doing.

With the game set to allow you to take over the AI once you get kicked and the AI takes over, you could take it back over easily when you could start playing again.

We have done that for the Roman player, Thalata, who is having computer problems and cant play right now.

When he straightens things out, he can just ake over the Roman AI again and resume playing.

The same goes for you or any other player.

No threat was intended, please, trust me.

If anyone can get in contact with Thalata, please let him know his civ is on AI and he can take it over easily.

Suppose we have a player who is at war with another player civ, and he wants to take his turn. He has waited for the other civ to move for over 18 hours, but that civ still hasnt taken their turn.

How long should a player have to wait before doing their turn and thus get a double move?

I think earlier we had discussed 12 hours, no?

Plattfuss: it appears you missed last turn. Would you like to go first from now on to minimize the impact of a missed turn? I will check back again in two hours, then in 10~11 hours. By then I cannot wait anymore...

Ye, I missed that turn. Uploader was down and then turn had ended which is not ideal but nvm. Thanks for the offer but I would like to keep our order with me making the second move. I will however have to move lastest around 23:30 tonight CET (EST +6). Maybe you can manage to move be4.

Is the server down? I wasn't able to log in a few times over the past hour or so. :(
