Converting units from civ 1&2

Hey I want to know is it really possible to convert from civ 1 and 2 to civ 3 I was just wanting to know

Yep, that's possible but they wouldn't be animated sprites like civ 3 uses. They would just be a single image. You would just need to make a one frame storyboard and then cut and paste from the civ 1 or 2 graphics and then turn it into a flic file. There are programs available for this. Creating the pedia pics would be easy.

In the early days of Civ 3 people did use Civ 2 units.

The unit i want to convert from civ 1 is the settlers

What you might want to do is check out the Downloads Unit database for specific units. There are quite a few there, for all eras.
