COTM 11 Results & Congratulations

Congrats everyone!

I must say I am quite surprised to finish 16th. I only focussed on research and my (minor) conquests of Carthage and parts of Japan started quite late, so I didn't have much teritory, so I had expected to finish lower.

Thanks for the kind words. I deserved to get shut out of the Medals, though. When I saw your excellent spoiler, I realized why: because I had been too friggin lazy to mount a naval assault on the Vikings. I left them alone. In consequence, my cavalry had to ride out forever and got bogged down in the deserts between Mongolia and India. This cost me something like six to ten turns.

Congrats for your excellent game, your fine write-up and for getting yet another step towards the Epathalon. Thank you also for showing me where I went wrong. It won't happen again.
