What I don't understand: why did I get the Moo? klarius and Kuningas both had a higher Fireaxis score!

Edit: forget it. I think I understand: they had a higher "multiplyer" because of their better finish date, but my "base" score was higher!?

Correct. It looks like you won the moo quite convincingly, with a base score of 7097. Actually I was hoping to pick it up myself, as a consolation for losing the 20k award to Andronicus, but I came a distant second with 4751.

Which I don't understand. I compared a save of mine from 1600AD to your final save from 1590AD, and your game looked much better than mine: my pop was 1525 at that point and yours already 1810! Territory was very similar, you were 5 tiles from dom limit and I 13. My score at that point was slightly lower as well: 4419. So what made the big difference? Just the fact that I kept milking for another 280 years?! I think, this award is not quite fair...

While we are at it: I have a question. I never played a 20K game myself, so pardon my ignorance..., but I noticed you built the Colossus before the Temple. Isn't it better the other way around? Or have you been in danger of loosing the race to Colossus?

Obviously it should be, The Colossus is 67 shields per culture point, a temple (for Ottomans) is 30 shields per cp.

One reason to prefer Colossus could be that Ottomans start with BW but lack CB at the start. In this Predator game however, they missed both. But remaining starting tech Masonry allowed a prebuild on other wonders while it is tough to tell when you get CB if you go for the Republic Slingshot.

Another reason could be the threat you mentioned. In this monarch game: Not applied.
And the third: At the start you lack the units / extra population to (part-)rush the temple, later in the game it's easier to get the temple quicker - the colossus will always be built shield by shield.

And on monarch the extra commerce from The Colossus might be more important than the extra happy citizen.
