Crash when loading a save-RoM2.81 Full + AND

i cant load the saved game and it appear "fail to uncompressed game data" and i have no idea about.
i trying to load the recent auto-save file but it same.
the saved game size is about 700kb
then i try load the previous save game which very earlier ~100kb size and it is ok.
i was playing the standard size earth coming with Rom2.8 package.

my computer spec :
p4 3.0ghz
1gb ddr2 ram
sapphire 2600 512ram

game version
bts
RoM2.81 Full version
AND mod'smod

i doubt it may b due to lack of ram,but i have no problem playing original bts even at a very late game turn.
could someone help me to fix the problem?

I cant speak for other people but I have been dealing with this since I downloaded AND.
Seems like, regardless of the size or date of the save, you can only load once, from the main menu.
I still think AND is worth it though

RoM more than doubles everything even more so with AND. It stretches any computer. I have a 2gig machine and have the graphics on lower settings.

On the saves, I have not had the problem since I deleted all the .ini files (except civilizationIV.ini) in the "My Games/Beyond the Sword" folder. I also did a defrag so it may have been one or the other or both that fixed my problem.

is that anyway to recover the recent save file?
cause i been try all the auto-save file but it failed as same problem.
the last save file that can be load seem many hours ago..
too bad for my whole weekend on this game

I've had the same problem of not being able to load games with AND. I don't remember which options of AND I installed, but almost all of them.

Since I couldn't do anything I reinstalled a fresh RoM 2.81 and AND with these options:

{Required Files} {Military Civics} {Civic Flavors} {Mountains } {Realistic Diplomacy} {Seafaring } {Multiple Production Mod} {The World's Fair} {Sea Tunnels} {Hi-Res Cursors} {Fixed Borders} {Surround and Destroy} {No Storms} {Advanced Diplomacy}

I can load my new game fine with these options so you could try that.


Despite that problem, thank you Afforess for this great mod.
