Crashing! I need Help!

Hello,
Civillization keeps crashing for some reason. I don't know why, but when it does crash and goes back to my desktop the colours and graphics are really bad. Does anyone know why it does this? And how I can sort it out?

Yes, wait for the patch. Take2 has your money now, Civ IV "works" as far as they are concerned.
