Cross Platform Saves

I know the Switch version doesn't have mod support. If I create a game on the PC using a couple simple UI mods, will it not load on the Switch version at all or will it just load without the mods?

I guess it depends from the mods.
Most likely the saves wont work at all, or they work in a way not intended.
