Played the Clan of Embers in a game today, and the Illians Cast stasis fairly early (turn 150 Normal).

So, it occurred to me, that one of the up sides of Stasis is not paying costs for those 20 turns. So of course, this was an *ideal* time to cast For the Horde. Didn't have to delete any units, and my new found army ripped through numerous civilized cities.
 
Wow - glad you actually found something you could enjoy out of Stasis :)

Me, I simply *HATE* hitting end turn for 30 turns (It does add a bit of a spice to war, but I'm not frequently warring when Stasis is cast)
 
Add Scorpion Clan goblins to For The Horde during Stasis and the Clan is truly unstoppable. When you conquer a city, buy goblins with the loot and that makes the Clan the only civ that can wage war effectively during Stasis while everyone else can be considered defenseless against the Ember hordes.
 
sadly though, sometimes stasis is cast too early for you to have insufficient funds to buy more troops from the forts to go on a huge conquering crusade :lol:
 
And sometimes, by the time it's cast, there aren't Barbs anymore.
 
And on some maps it can be really long, if at all possible, to regroup the troops you get from For the horde, notably Erebus mapscript.
