CTD when i start

every time i launch bts, the games crash before showing the initial animation of fraxis.
I hear a looped sound for 1 second and after CTD.

The pc is a laptop hp pavillon dv6000, with geforce go 6150. Vanilla CIV seems to run without problems.
I've win xp with 2 gb of ram. the os was just formatted so there's no other software on it.

Oh, and the same dvd installed on a sony vaio laptop works well

Ok, now it works.
But it's very strange!
To make it works, i've edit the .ini file, disabled the intro movie, the sound, and enabled the debug... starts without crashes.
Then, i've re-enabled all... and it works!!

confirmed, i've rebooted the machine and obtains CTD again.
To solve it (if you have the same problem), edit the ini files and set

; Set to 1 for no intro movie
NoIntroMovie = 1
