CTD when war declared

I'm waiting for the other civs, then the sound effect for war being declared sounds and the game CTDs. I tried changing various things, like tech researched, moving troops, trading, etc. But the same thing keeps happening. I'm not even sure if someone is declaring war on me (although unlikely).

War has been declared before and its 1AD. I'm playing Hatsheput, Normal, on HUge. Anyone else having this problem?

The save is too big to upload....

Is it the huge TAM map, or a random map?

Is it the first game for you with these settings or you have played others before, I mean without having the same problem?

Does it always happen at the same turn? (If so try declaring war on anybody right before this turn). We need to make sure that the event of declaring the war at this time is the cause of it otherwise it might be a coincidence. i.e. something else happens in the same time.

I had this issue several times aswell. It was the AI declaring war on someone unspecified yet (no text message) and it crashes.

The situation was clear it was going to be me who was going to be attacked (lots of transport ships moving in my direction).

I avoided the CTD by declaring war on that civilization the turn before. Then it never occured again.

Hope that helps, greets,
Schlappi

I implemented the same solution after I saw the transports near my border, worked fine.

It is the Huge map and not a random map.

I am having a similar problem. I hear that war is declared, and the game crashes. Is there any way around this besides declaring war on someone? (I don't even think it is my civ upon whom war is being declared.)

you guys are playing with localized language ?

what version is this happening with ?

The most recent one...If you declare war first it does avoid it.

I have other CTD problems too though. They come and go. Usually if I change the order of combats it goes away...

I think they are graphical bugs, probably due to movement or attack. Even if it wouldn't seem so with the declare first solution, it actually changes the time and order with which the AI moves its units.
