Why Exactly am I not getting the cultural victory I want?

I also complete a wonder a turn later and counter turns to 8/7 which completes my science victory...but not cultural. Annoying considering cultural is the one I was going for...

Same game modern era. Amina was given quest the next conquest abd it completed on same turn. I got no credit for it in achievements.

The meter only shows five wonders complete.

Yes rhat is the issue...it isn't giving credit for completing the path. Look at the screenshot, it shows 7/7 for the wonders. It also has the objective checked off meaning complete and yet the meter never updates even when I build another wonder the following turn. I Wasn't able to complete this despite having plenty of time left and 8 wonders built (7 at time of screenshot)

I loaded your save file and everything seems normal.

You have only constructed six wonders. The meter on the legacies show six wonders. The other two wonders you acquired by conquering a town. I presume these will not count, because you did not construct them. The legacy path requires wonders constructed, not just controlled.

I have no comment on your other issues, but this seems working as intended, based on your save file. The only glitch might be that the culture advisor is counting the wonders you conquered, when they don't actually apply to the legacy path.

If they don't count, then they shouldn't show them as counting. So it's a glitch kbe way or another. Also 90% positive my conquered wonders counted in the past.

I'm fine if they don't, but that should be displayed accurately then. Otherwise the top graphic is showing I completed it ( checked off and count is updated) but the milestone is not.

Also the objective clearly states house 7 wonders not constructed so this is a glitch.

Look at the screenshot you posted. It says right there: "by building four wonders", "next objective: construct seven wonders".

I mean, your save file proves otherwise. Even if conquered wonders counted, you don't actually control the settlement in your save game. It's in rebellion. The age ends before you gain control.

Like I said, the bug is with the advisor, not the game mechanics. You need to build seven wonders, and you did not.

Look at my screenshot. Look to the left where the overall path is check marked as complete. It says HOUSE 7 wonders. The counter is also keeping track of how many I housed not how many I constructed. So it seems to be intended to be how many I house not built.

If it is supposed to be built, then the text and counter both need updating. I also have had cknquered wonders counted in the past. Not sure why you are so stuck on arguing about this. The counter and checkmark show I completed it. The.milestones do not. It's a glitch. They are at odds with each other.

They need to PICK ONE. You are even agreeing the screen is bugged, yet are arguing with me about it.

This was caught before during preview streams. Right now there is indeed a contradiction between the UI/Tooltips and the in-game behavior: you do need to actually build the wonders yourself. Conquering settlements with wonders doesn't count.

We still don't know if this is a tooltip error (it should never say "house wonders") or a gameplay bug.

I'm just telling you what the game intends. It is intended that you construct the wonders. The text on the left is just the tutorial advisor text which can say anything it wants. They seem to use natural language in an attempt to make things more welcoming. If you read the actual rules text, it is clear.

This was your question, and I answered it. You will never hear from me again.

You still ignore the fact that the game has a counter and a checkbox and both indicate that housing is enough.

You keep saying to ignore one half of the screen and pay attention to the other half of the screen. The legacy milestone is literally marked as complete FFS.

Why can't you just acknowledge that the game is bugged?

It is bugged in one of 2 ways

1. You are correct and it just wants constructed. That means the tool tip and legacy path are incorrect and bugged.
2. I am correct and it wants housed wonders. Then the milestones are bugged.

Either way, one of the things is bugged. Hence a bug report.

You saying this isn't a bug means nothing requires fixing. Obviously that isn't true.
