I'll field a question:

Q: Two famous players Pele and Ronaldo are known by abbreviations of their full names. What are their full names?

Ronaldo is: Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima
Pele is: Edmund (or Eduardo?) A. (ok, I'm pretty sure it starts with an "A") do Nascimento...?

I'm sure about Pele's last name and the initials anyway. Is that good enough?

If my answer is accepted here's my question:

(Sorry I'm not good with dates and stats, so mine is more of a peripheral question...)

Q: Pele's ex-wife is famous in Brazil as a kid's show host (and for being VERY sexy). What's her name? Hint: starts with "X"

I don't think so, G_mr_B; your answer was incorrect!

Ronaldo is: Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima
Pele is: Edson Arrantes do Nascimento.

I had a question here, but I thin it would be fair if your question is the next: I didn't know Ronaldo's name!

ARGH! Edson, of course!

Well, go ahead with your question... mine can be a bonus if anyone wants to give it a go.

OK I have an extra question for all of you! How BAD did Denmark play in the last match, home, against Malta??

We had the ball 89% of the game and we only got two goals!!!
Denmark had 24 shots at the goal and Malta on two - but they got one goal out of them!!!

We had so many corners that you wouldn't believe it, but still we couldn't do better than 2-1!!!

We suck - let's go get some beer!!!

shadowdale, scandinavian football sucks right now. sweden won by 6-0, but the moldavans is the worst international team i ever seen and norway did only got 1-1.

my on your question: better then sweden use to.

New question (Danes special

) :

How many goals scored Denmark in the European Championships of '96 and 2000 together, and how many against them?

4 goals for, 12 against

It is right. I've checked it out on RSSSF.com (soccer statistics site) and here are the results (OK, I cheated now)
1996:
Denmark - Portugal 1-1
Denmark - Croatia 0-3 (1-4 total)
Denmark - Turkey 3-0 (4-4 total)

2000:
Denmark - France 0-3 (4-7 total)
Denmark - Netherlands 0-3 (4-10 total)
Denmark - Turkey 0-2 (4-12 total)

Are you sure? Try again.

Tip: less for, more against. The amount of total goals is right, though.

wrong! they met czech republic. try again...

Well, something must be wrong with my memory:

I remember that Denmark lost 4 times 3-0, lost 2-1 (against Chez Republic) and lost 2-0 against Turkey.

It's Czech Republic instead of Turkey in 2000. Everything else is right. Your memory probably went wrong on Denmark-Turkey '96 (Denmark won, they didn't lose)

New question:
In what year did Haiti qualify for the World Championships?

------------------
What's wrong with Bodø/Glimt?

Ok, then. If you say so.

Btw, Haiti played the World Cup in 1934. They lost 2 times and had one draw (1-1). All the games on the World Cup were played against Mexico.

Next: What was the first time that the country now called Indonesia participated in the World Cup.

Willem, I meant the World Cup FINALS, not the qualification. I can't believe Haiti reached the WC Finals in '34
