Custom Game no longer possible for hotseat

When I now press Multiplayer->Hot Seat i can only Start New Game, Start New Scenario and Load Game. Custom Scenario and Custom Game is no longer available (they dont display on the list). I can load a previously saved custom game, but I can no longer create new hot seat games. It is the same for BTS classic and FFH2 mod (see image below) Can anyone help me?

I messed around with the config files a bit and now when I press New Game in hotseat I enter the Custom Game setup. I am pretty sure there used to be a New Custom Game option, but what the heck it works now
