Vicevirtuoso
The Modetta Man
I've been trying for about a week straight to convert a modified version of the Civ 4 Wolf unit to .gr2 to import into Civ 5, and I have yet to be successful. I have no experience with 3D modeling, so this has been a rather frustrating undertaking. It's gotten me to the point of screaming anger at Blender, so I've decided to ask for a little extra help.
So far, I've tried exporting my .blend file to .nif, .fbx, and .nb2 using various tutorials from these forums. .nif gives me this Python error:
I have no other scenes and no other objects but my mesh and my skeleton.
.fbx doesn't give a Blender error message, but when I try to import it and view it in NexusBuddy, it gives me an error there and nothing appears.
.nb2 export using Deliverator's scripts gives me this:
I can't use the most recent tutorial which suggests to copy Civ 4 meshes to Civ 5 templates, as there is no appropriate skeleton for wolves or other wild animals in Civ 5.
I will attach my .blend file and the .dds texture, and pray someone can take a look at it and figure out what the issue is.
