GWII (Great War 2) started on January 9th, 2007!!! It all started with the Norwegian government (the real one). They got mad at the alliance Nordreich for making a recruitment video with German armies during WWII with the Norwegian anthem playing in the backround as part of their recruitment video. However, the Norwegian government thought they were real rightist-nazis who wanted to really use military. Anyway, this got the attention of Fark.com who then join CN out of curiosity. However, they had always had tensions with somethingawful.com. Unfortunently (or fortunently if you want this to happen) many Goons members were part of Somethingawful.com and they attacked the newly created Farkistan in order to prevent them from being dangerous in the future. LUE came to the defense of Farkistan and attacked Goons. At that point the initiative powerblock started sending lots of foreign aid to Goons. Then the League (ally's of LUE) atttacked the Initiative and from then on it escalated until all of the Intiative was fighting the League (with some others involved). As of right now there are only conventional attacks and no sanctioned use of nukes, but somehow I think its only a matter of time. Also, so far the Legion and ODN have not joined, but if they do its going to tip the odds drastically in favor of the League.

The NPO and the NpO are different alliances, however, they are really close to each other and NpO was pretty much born from NPO. Also, There many other alliances besides NPO and NAAC who are fighting each other.
