So this one is only achievable with the Joseon? Why then "an Early Modern Era Culture", when the would have been more appropriate?Flight of Birds: Own a Biplane as an Early Modern Era Culture.

Ah yes, you're probably right. Oh, well, too late for me, half an hour wasted due to acting sooner than thinkingI didnt try it yet but from the wording I guess you can just transcend with any early modern culture until you own a biplane.
Not sure about your nuke question. I destroyed fences with battering rams (just one attack needed) and did the rest with ships. It‘s a bit annoying early on as the enemy often sorties before you build the siege equipment, but the ships worked nicely. If you nuke a walled city, will it count towards the destroyed fortifications achievement? I wasn't much into modern warfare before and now I discovered that field guns do even more damage to the walls on the tactical map than siege artillery, and a fortification tile requires multiple hits by them to be destroyed. Otherwise, a hit from a missile cruiser to a weaker unit behind walls killed the unit and one-shot those walls too, but if the tile does not have a hostile unit on it, the cruiser cannot shoot just the walls. So I just want to nuke everything at this point. Technically, a nuke is a machine of war, isn't it?
Also, Science End is not the Mars mission? Is it reaching the final techs then?
It looks like the nukes worked for the Machines of War. The drawback is that you apparently have to have vision on targets, so the satellite projects must be launched before. But still, no need then to worry too much about siege engines or other big guns before that. Not sure about your nuke question.
So.. is there any way I can tell which era each cultural wonder comes from? I've done all of the challenges except this one; the game claims that I've only gotten 5 of 6 wonders in one city at a time, but it's not clear which era I'm missing from each time.
