I have recently spent my money in buying Civilization 4, and when I get into the game the ground is black.

It seems that my graphics card is not good enough.

I haven't got the money to afford a new video card at all and I was wondering is there ANYWAY I can fix this?

If not, please pass the bad news

sorry dude. you're going to to need the hardware t&l support. It's pretty essential in this game. The only way to fix this is to get a new video card that supports it (be sure that it's 64 MB). I'm in a similar boat from what I can tell, as my video card is only 32 MB (although it does have hardware t&l). Try to return it if you can.

Thanks for the bad news. I guess I needed to hear it.

It really sucks knowing that you have played every single civilization and you can't play the newest one due to having a bad graphics card.
