Just book the day off from work joespaniel. Then go through the members list emailing all 33 000 members one by one to come on the forum at 6pm GMT. I'm sure it'll work . You don't really need a selling point other than "We're going for a record!"

Different record. That one is most unique users active in a day. Joespaniel is talking about the most users online at one time.

I just noticed that if we are to beat the record we would need at least 666. And this is right around Christmas.

We could have some incentive like: any member who posts on that day will get 666 post counts added. That should get their attention.
