Slavic federation
Well, I think this one of the best (maybe the best?) with Arc and Asian, since he has
- Orbital units stay in orbit 50% longer
which make him an edge on orbital dimension (we can see ground dimension, air dimension, sea dimension, orbital dimension)
- +50% 20xPetroleum resources which is very good for producing a lot of orbital stuff.
slavic has an edge on orbital dimension, he has more cards (possibility) than anyone.
Ok, he has not good early boost, and does not have extra midgame or lategame.
But since his orbital dimension can compensate, even compete with enemy with other's faction bonus, i think that the main goal, is what to do with this edge?
You can distinguish orbital for:
- economic growth
- scientific growth
- military (offensive, defensive, spy)
- quest end
Of course, depending to the techweb, some orbital are expensive, need a lot of tech developpement.
So you have 2 developpment leverage:
- make the reachable orbital faster, for capitalizing your edge. Since your advantage is orbital durability, and not price, you should choose wisely who is the most rentable at your situation (economic or military)
- aim to the long shot (strategic orbital expensive), your petroleum is needed for trade, for financing high tech.
Your extra production or petroleum gives you also 2 leverages
- spam more orbital for yours cities
- exchange your extra petroleum for others ressources
So i would tell for resume
- reach faster orbital for economic growth
- sell your extra petroleum (and exploit this ressources all the map, even if you need make war. Black gold is the best for you)
- Finance your extra energy for
> technology, for reaching better orbital (military, economic)
> military, secure your oil logistic, dont let opposant reach their oil exploitation so they need trade with you to have oil, attack strategic locations, make some geopolitic
> economic, consolidate your own city
- At lategame, you have enough ressources to make 3 leverages
> spam your orbital which gives you economic, ground military advantage, scientific
> make opponent's orbital hard to deploy - lack of ressources petrolum, orbital destroyed by you...
> make sure that he thinks he need invest a lot on orbital advantage (which is your land of predilection),
make the sputnik strategy: make him spend a lot to want to land to the moon =)
