I have made a defensive pact with holland on turn 360. Holland has not declared war on anybody but the pact expired 3 turn later, I made a new one and it expired 2 turn later...strange...
I don't think I've ever signed a DP, so perhaps I don't understand how they work. Here's a summary of your DPs with Holland (taken from the Deal History screen):
It appears that when the DPs signed in 333 or 335 ended, that cancelled the pacts signed in 361 and 364. I don't understand how you can have multiple DPs in effect with the same civ, but it appears that when an earlier DP expires, it cancels all existing DPs. Also, Holland is at war with the Celts. That situation may be affecting this behavior.
Yeah, if your DP partner DOWs another civ, it cancels your DP. Perhaps scanning the F6 summary will show DOWs from Holland that match key turns in the chart.
